A super fun hands-on, chemistry lab for kids. You will add two different chemicals to a plastic cup and stir 100 times with a craft stick. The chemicals produce polyurethane foam, the same stuff that you spray into your attic or basement to insulate a house. The two chemicals mix and slowly begin to react, producing gas, a color change, heat and a faint odor - all indications that you are witnessing a chemical change. The foam expands so much that it oozes out of the top of the cup as it is guided by your craft stick so that it does not fall over. The foam becomes hard in a matter of seconds and you can pick up your cup and bonk your little brother on the noodle. You will receive 2 ounces of poly A, 2 ounces of Poly B, 4 cups and 4 craft sticks. Just enough materials so that you can do this lab 4 times by yourself or invite three friends over for a laugh.
